I recently stumbled across Naija R'n'B singer, song writer, Morell, who is causing a bit of a stir with his two tracks titled 'OXYGEN' and 'FORGIVE DEM'. Real name Musa Morell Akilah from Borno State- Maiduguri, encapsulates the current sound and yet still brings a dynamic uniqueness that has got heads nodding to. I love him already!
Currently signed to BENTO records in the UK and managed by PUSH concepts, Morell says "I make music because it is my passion and I have so much to say. I believe music is the best medium one can use to get their message out, and I want to be heard".
This is not the first time he's been seen on the music scene. He has collabos with Naeto C, Ruggedman, Jesse Jagz, and Iceprince (just to name a few) under his belt and he looks as though he's here to stay if pushed in the right direction.
Well I instantly liked both his tracks but my fav has to be 'FORGIVE DEM'. Keep up the good work dude!
