African culture is embedded in everything we do.
From our language, food and fashion right, down to our entertainment. The Fest
Guru's set out to celebrate this all over the continent.... And what a fab way
to do so.
The Fest Gurus x Hifa 2013
Last year, these four young Africans
created their favourite list of African festivals they wanted to attend. They decided to start off with a bang in ZIMBABWE (my home town)- for the annual
Harare International Festival of the arts (HIFA).
This first episode follows hosts Lorraine and
Mazuba, as they take Djembe drumming lessons and interview hip hop artist Tehn
Diamond and Take Fizzo. The episode also features footage
of performances by Showtime artists like Reverb 7, Simba Tagz and
Feststyle, which is a segment that highlights stylish and the fabulous
attendees.
Check up
on these fly girls and guys making me more and more homesick :(
