I was first introduced to MI's music by a friend. I remember it clearly because every time I got into his car, his music would be playing. He would rant and rave about how talented MI is- and I agree. It's his flow that got me hooked, so much so that I had to Youtube him to find more. He is undoubtably one of the best lyricists to come out of Nigeria, so when I heard he and the Chocolate City fam were coming to the Indigo2 for the MI2 launch, I was a little more than excited.

In the run up to the event, it started with a press launch. The boys turned up ridiculously late, keeping us waiting for over an hour...yeah...African timing...

Here I am waiting patiently...dum-di-dum-di-dum...

Finally they arrived and were all very apologetic and blamed it on the traffic...as you do...
